Our History

The history of the COMTRAFO Group began in 1987, with the founding of the first Eletrotrafo Electrical Materials and Lighting store in the city of Cornélio Procópio, in the interior of Paraná. In 1994, a significant gap in transformer manufacturing services was identified, and this major market opportunity led COMTRAFO to start its operations.

Since then, the Group has continued to grow, with COMTRAFO becoming one of the largest transformer manufacturers in Brazil, gaining significant visibility worldwide, and the Eletrotrafo stores becoming synonymous with excellence in service and product quality.
