COMTRAFO Group demonstrates its concern for the environment through actions that effectively contribute to reducing pollutant emissions. Some of the actions we highlight include:

• Painting process with water-based paint, which does not harm the environment;

• Adoption of a Waste Management and Disposal Plan that includes:

  • Segregation, collection, and proper storage of industrial waste;

  • Reuse and reduction of inputs such as paper, cardboard, and wood;

  • Implementation of a liquid effluent treatment system, particularly for water used in manufacturing processes, for reuse in the production system, promoting sustainability and conservation of water resources;

  • Hiring specialized companies licensed by IAP for the proper disposal of solid and liquid waste produced by the company.

• Installation project for a Solar Power Generation System in its new Central Unit.

These are just some of the measures being implemented in the Group's Environmental Control Plan to obtain the ABNT NBR ISO 14001:2015 certification.
